Re: Renoise not Rewiring in Ableton
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. You are a life saver my friend. I guess by default I always downloaded Renoise updates as 32 bit, and when I downloaded the final 2.8 release I was like, Why am I downloading 32 bit when I have a fancy 64 bit chip and OS. Redownloaded the 32 bit version just now and it works perfect...

Renoise not Rewiring in Ableton
Renoise no longer shows up in Ableton as a Rewire program. Did I change a setting? I have Ableton 8.3, Renoise 2.8, and also have Automap 4.3 (which I have tried leaving on or turning off). Any suggetions?

Re: Video/Audio Render
Ahhh, tried it another time and it exported correctly! The first time it exported the original video/audio (maybe I had the music unknowingly muted). This is one of my sessions which occasionally crashes on export and it may have crashed after the audio portion the second time. Sometimes one just ne...

Video/Audio Render
Is there any way to export a video clip and the music I composed to it together? It seems rather pointless to have a video feature if you can't export the merged video/audio session into a single quicktime file.

Re: Crashes exporting audio on Live 8.1.3
I have 8 Gigs of RAM running Windows 7, and Ableton 8.2.8 and have the same thing happening with different sessions. Its TERRIBLY ANNOYING. Ctrl+Alt+Del and End Task does work, you just have to wait about 5 minutes and it will finally close and allow you to reopen live. Somewhat better than having t...

Re: LIve Performance
thanks for the advice all. I'm soaking it all in. I think for stability I will probably open reason first then ableton and cue a loop in reason as the first song ends, close the live session and open up the new song in ableton as the reason file plays. Doesn't give me much down time between tracks t...

LIve Performance
Dumb Question, but maybe I'm missing something or need a creative approach. So I'm preparing for a live performance in a few months. Gonna have a load of loops/mixdowns to trigger using the launchpad, and maybe a synth or two in an ableton session. What should I do to transition to a new song/sessio...

ahh, touche good sir. I just got live 7 yesterday and your method does work. I tend to speak my grievances first before actually RTFM I guess you could call me a good Christian republican... ;) I like your method, don't know why i missed that one. Though back to my other half of my post....I still w...

Best way I found to do it, in which to have multiple busing is to use the sends (AUX). Turn up send A on track 1 and 2. Set audio to, to send out only. Set send A return to a third track, and turn track 3 to monitor input. Repeat process for multiple busing. It works pretty much the same way, but st...

Lets say I want to bus all my drums to one track and my pads to another simultaneously. Can you do that in live? From my understanding no. You solo each drum track open another track and select the input to resample. In pro tools you can put all your drum tracks on bus 1, and create a track with the...

More internal busing, not just one resample. and GROUPS
I know its nice to be different, but having busing like in Pro Tools, and Groups would be great.

5.1 support.....PLEASE
not that I want everyone to start making music in 5.1, but It would be nice to have 5.1 in ableton and not have to go back and forth from cubase to ableton.......A patch for live 7 would be nice, instead of waiting for live 8
