Re: Mavericks crashes: anyone else?
I could not even open Live 9.06 at all, instant crash every time since installing Mavericks. Signed up for 9.1 BETA and the same thing. Went back to Mountain Lion...no problems...good effort Apple! Sometimes I wonder how developers can be bothered with Apple, constantly having to rewrite becvause of...

How to Stop "Live Wants to Changes" every Time I Open Live
Since updating to Live 8 with OS X Lion, every time I open Live I get this rather irritating request to type in my user password because Live wants to make changes. I cannot find any settings to stop this. It is like a freaking nag screen from a demo version...is there any way to convince OS X that ...

Re: Re:
Hi All, I don't think the live supports VSTi as yet (Hope it will soon though) only VST effects. So you can't assign the MIDI note output to the FM7. WTF??? I can run VST on Live, although it does seem to crash when I change presets in Reaktor. LMAO     Thank God...

I guess you could still get a substantial amount back if u were to sell a 2011 MBP and get a high spec'd Windows machine with change to spare if it really is so bad.

Re: RP Delay $10 AudioMidi no-brainer!
Just bought this, absolutely fantastic for turning loops inside out and into something new. No problem dropping it into either audio or midi tracks in Live, however in Logic it only appears to be useable in Midi tracks. Does this men I have to use a side chain thingy in Logic....I'm really losing pa...

Re: Oh For the love of god! Nooooooo!
I still have no idea who T-Pain is other than this chap who gets mentioned in every advertising blurb about austotune effects....the joys of not listening to the radio or watching TV music shows. (I'm guessing that is where he is seen). I presume he is a heavy user of autotune but for now I'm not go...

Re: Won't advances eventually make musicians near obsolete?
My advice: learn to play music on instruments that do not require electricity. Just a precautionary measure to ensure your longevity in the field of music regardless of what the future may bring. I'm dedicating my time to learning how to play tunes on musical spoons. Authentic instrument of the pos...

Re: So, should I get Operator or Zebra?
Zebra is not a huge download, have you trialled it yet? I'm pretty sure if you do, that will seriously help you make up your mind. Sure, it is not the cheapest softsynth on the market but it is quality. As for Ace, I have it and love the sound, really rich and powerful but it needs a powerful comput...

Well, I''m sure I didn't want to put anyone to any bother that they didn't want to. but thanks to everyone who answered. As stated earlier, I guess this was a thought experiment....but hey, I'm a physicist by training, so shoot me. I am going through a bizarre disengagement from GAS at the moment an...

Explanation of Analogue Vs Digital, Help Needed!
Hmmm, maybe insomnia kicking in but I find myself confused by aspects of this never ending debate. If I record a high quality aspect signal into my DAW I have converted to a digital facsimile of that waveform. If my AD converters are not of particularly good quality though, this is going to be a fai...

Not being silly but if Live 9 was released this week, who actually is going to dive straight in after the Live 8 experience?

Re: AdreanLynn what do you Guitarist think of this plug?
I dunno, had it for a few months now, seems good when I solo with it but I am finding it really hard to sit well in any mix. IMHO it does not have the same clarity as, say, using guitar rig or even a lot of other combos of devices which can deliver similar results...I keep feeling that it makes the ...
