Re: To Upgrade or to wait?

I did it and all seems well. 8 suite didn't include max for live, that was extra. it wasn't until 9 that it came with it.

The Live 9 Compressor - How is it?

So I'm still on 8 Suite and I'm skipping 9. I'm curious to know your thoughts on the Live 9 Compressor that they added (Glue, I think). Mostly because the U-he Presswerk plug in just came out and is discounted, and I'm considering it.

Thanks

Re: To Upgrade or to wait?

oh snap! I found an article that says other people have been able to use 8 on Yosemite with no problems. I suppose it it dies in the future I can wait for the upgrade and maybe buy Reaper in the meantime.

To Upgrade or to wait?

Hey everyone. It's been some time since I've posted on the forum, though I check it regularly still. I have LIVE 8 Suite and have sunk a lot of money into Live over the years. I intend to stick with it, but I'm struggling to know how to proceed from here. It's already been quite some time since 9 fi...

Anybody been to Iceland?

So my wife and I are about to travel to Iceland for a 2 weeksish. Anybody been? We have no plans yet, but are interested in outdoorsy things. We know very little about it. So if you have tips on what to do or how to travel cheap I'd love to hear them!

Used Live for a quick holiday recording

Hey all. It's been forever since I've posted here but recently I got a new computer and I'm actually able to use some of my software! In college I was a guitar major and one of the songs I learned was Carol of the Bells, arranged by my professor John Roth. It's a pretty sweet arrangement, and while ...

Re: Time Signature Denominator

yea dude, 4/4 is most likely what you want. are you saying that you didn't ever set it to 1/4 or 1/2? As far as the clip triangles being orange, i'm not exactly sure what you're talking about. i can tell you this though, the master scene buttons can store tempo and time signature information. if you...

Re: How did you learn ableton live?please share your story.

i have to admit, i've spent years roaming around and watching this and that, but i highly recommend picking up a book. I saw earlier mentioned (i didn't read the whole thread though) the book ableton live power. i used that one. The reason i recommend a book is that they can be more thorough than vi...
