Anyone tried MacOS Sequoia yet?
Question's in the title... I'm not quite wild enough to have done the upgrade yet on 2nd day of release, but anyone here done so? Or done a load of beta testing? Any issues? Performance the same? Any weird glitches? All plugins work? Hopefully in 15.0 it's all solid as there's been betas a while, bu...

Re: Live 12: Bring Back Device view toggle!
I'm with fabidjano: would be nice if we could have both if Cmd-Opt-L isn't now used for something else too. Maybe I'll just get used to it, but I've been Cmd-Opt-L-ing for a long time! Also when I've not been doing any production for a while and instant muscle memory is gone it's still pretty easy t...

Reload packs on upgrade?
Might seem a bit of a dumb question (especially since I've had Live since 5 and owned all the suites), but if I upgrade to Live 12 do I need to download all the packs again? Do they add anything over the old Live 11 ones? Or do I only need to download new ones? (my account shows none are "previ...

Apple Silicon and Kext vs DriverKit drivers
Hi all! I got a M1 Max MacBook Pro back in 2021(?), whenever the 15" Pro/Max was new. Originally put kext drivers on it for my RME UFX II. Worked great. But MacOS moaned periodically that kexts wouldn't be supported in a future version of MacOS. So after looking about and reading RME forums wor...

Any way to copy device input names about?
I've just Ventura-ed my MacBook and installed the DriverKit compatible RME drivers. Presumably because it's a different audio driver all my nice I/O names are gone. Are these in some hidden XML file or something somewhere where I can just copy a chunk of the old driver name to the new driver section...

Re: Export Tracks/Stems without FX?
Ah ha! Not sure I saw that last night, but I’ll have a look again tonight. Would still be nice to have a feature to export all tracks without FX (and as of last night I realised -) without any panning feature. All the mono ones I exported turn into stereo ones. So the nicely names group tracks were ...

Re: Export Tracks/Stems without FX?
Well I made an Options.txt and put -ShowDeviceSlots in it, but nothing happens. Still looks the same.
(put in the user/library/prefs../Ableton/Live 11.1.6 folder.)
What am I supposed to see? You mention centercode etc, do I need to be running the latest beta for this?

Re: Export Tracks/Stems without FX?
I’ll give this a go as soon as I get home. I was presuming the answer would be a disappointing “no” as there was clearly nothing in the UI, but I presume adding this to options.txt makes something magically appear! Cheers.

Export Tracks/Stems without FX?
Hi all, Is there an easy way to export all tracks without FX? Often we record band stuff and use multiple FX to get the demo tracks to "sound right" and representative of the final mix. But then send them off to a pro for proper mixing/mastering (usually with our rough demo mix to give an ...

Re: To beta, or not to beta, that is the question...
I might stick the beta on at the weekend then. Get going with the regular one and start being productive, then play about and see how much native performance increase I get when I have a bit more free time.

Re: To beta, or not to beta, that is the question...
I think you can run them both. I just thought I want to keep this nice and "clean" so wanted the least messy setup. In the end decided to just stick the normal release on for now as I wasn't sure if beta will share settings or use separate ones etc, so it seemed the easiest. If I can get t...

Re: Why can't I hear my plugins effects live while recording?
Got direct hardware monitoring on? If so that'd explain it. What you got all the internal Live monitoring set to and what's your interface's mixer settings? I can make guesses, but need more info, else that's all they are...
