does anyone know if it should be the case that delay compensation/track delay adjustment is disabled when external sync is in use?

Don't nderstand this... I have many projects in which I adjusted the individual track delays to get everything sounding right - I was using external sync at the time and I was still able to adjust the track delays and delay compensation was still on - now both track delays and delay compensation are ...
