anyone else seeing performance issues in 8.2? i have a set in 8.1.5 that runs fine, but in 8.2 the cpu is jumping up to 90/100% with audio breakup, etc... the set is a mix of audio & midi, on win xp32, asio drivers, some vst plugs... :cry:

hm, it seems my hw driver got reset, and there's a buffer option that introduces p& c... 805 is playing nicely now

projects that run fine in 804 are covered in pops & crackles in 805 :(
(amd-x2 lappy w/xp32sp3 +apc40)

could be audio drivers - an external audio interface can be power-cycled, whereas internal needs a reboot...

i've also seen this a couple of times, although restarting live sorts me out; i haven't worked out what's causing it; this is xp sp3 on a amd x2 laptop, usb audio device with asio4all drivers

this isnt a bug, this is a massive oversight that i complained about in beta testing. But nobody backed me up. with live 7 I used my network card soley to activate live, and then would disable it. In 8 if i disable it then it asks to reauthorise . So i have to leave it on and disconnect the lead ...

Interesting! does your SE W910i appear as a USB network adapter,
or does it use some other bus? Do you use it as such, or only for
playing back MP3s?

that's what it is,
the etherenet port.
they included it in their hardware key.
daft isn't it.

I mentioned this during the beta (as did others) that people often turn off their ethernet at a gig.
at which point they will get a horrible surprise.
