Re: ABLETON HARDWARE UNIT

I came up with this idea some years ago back when I was searching for a decent sampler/midi sequencer/composer.
Building a whole setup with laptop, midi controller, soundcard, usb cables, etc.. seemed very laborious and time consuming to me so I started wondering why do I still need a laptop for ...

those OPEN LABS computers (Miko LXD) look kinda funny :)

it should look more like an Ableton Push controller, but without the laptop.

How can I half/double tempo in arrangement with automations

I made a track at 170BPM but in my live set all the other tracks are around 85BPM

How can I change this track with all automations to 85 BPM ?

I can use the x2 / :2 buttons but the automation envelopes must follow too...

How can I half those automation enevelopes?

Really stuck on this one

I think this problem started after beta testing Live 8 but I'm not sure. Any help? Thanx in ...

I also did a test with one device on a track but the parameters didn't change... Maybe I did it wrong. Where did you set your parameters? is it in the clip view envelope or on the device itself..

I don't know what you mean with the 'track related things seem to be in the domain of .als files only ...

thanx for your help. I've been searching on the forum for 'live clips' and 'alc file' but what do you mean exactly? I think I'm not using the seach function right. gonna look it up in the manual. How would you do this if it should be able to do without much problem? thanx
