Midi Early Latency - Notes laying before beat gets worse
As I record midi my notes end up being before the beat and the longer the clip the worse it gets. I'm using Kontakt as my software instruments. CPU is around 20%. I have tried switching delay compensation on/off. I'm using mid 2012 MBP with 8 gigs ram, Live 9.2 & RME UCX as my interface. Thank y...

Automation point Snap-to-grid in Clip Envelope (w/o Draw)
I would like to see automation points be able to snap to the grid when you double click to create them. I do not enjoy using the current draw tool or highlight selection workaround.

Midi message to change Live Set
I would like to close and open new live set by sending a midi message with my footcontroller. I have been searching all over the internet for the past four hours researching different methods of accomplishing this. I now have an Automator app that will prepare my computer for Live performance which ...

Mob of Angry Kids with Ableton
We tracked ourselves screaming some lyrics over and over and then transposed the results and randomly changing the formats to get the effect of a mob of angry children.

In the initial stages, it was amazingly fast to sketch o...

He has no arms so feet are his only choice, yet he is one of the best cellists in the section! Blows my mind every class when I watch him play.

Video I made w/ Ableton for School Grant
I made a video for my high school students at Patrick Henry High in Virginia using Ableton. First time I used the video features in Ableton and it was a lot of fun. If you have an extra minute please vote for us. We could win 10-50,000 dollars for our music program and we could use the funds badly! ...

Re: Having Problems Using Xformer with 7/4 time sig
To further clarify better.
I want beat 1 of each measure to line up with step 1 of Xformer. It does not do that with my 7/4 time sig.

Having Problems Using Xformer with 7/4 time sig
It seems like Xformer assumes your always dealing with 4/4 time. I set my time sig in Live to 7/4, set tempo to 180 Load audio clip Load Xformer hit play, then within 4 beats of my audio clip Xformer is back to step 1 this doesn't matter if I change the number of steps to any multiple of 7. Is there...

Thanks Jharling!
Just fleshed that improv out a little bit more now incorporating the 'reverse' looping function and half speed as well.

Here's a little improv I did yesterday. Using dummy clips to trigger my effects racks and Mobius as a plug-in for the looping.

Re: MIDI clock (slave) improvements in Live 8.2.4b1
I'm getting great results so far with Mobius looper plug-in, that sets the tempo from my first loop and sending that midi clock over the IAC bus to Live as the tempo slave. Using delay effects on my incoming audio were right in sync with the initial loop that set the tempo in Mobius.
