Yeah, but I think that assumes that the dB is a linear function of the CC, which it isn't.

I tried to import a FLAC file (created in Audacity 1.3.7, 96KBps, level 5, 32-bit). The first 30s of the file were recorded, followed by silence. No error was displayed.

Is this a known issue (I saw passing mention of this elsewhere)?

Looks like it's the Hercules card causing the problem. It seems to be incompatible with the Novation when running Vista (think the SP was a red herring).
