still can't figure this one out? Anybody know if you can do this?

When mapping keys on the keyboard to toggle on/off devices in Live 4. Is it possible to instead turn the key into a gate? I'm having trouble figuring this one out.

Basically I want to turn an effect on ....only when I hold the key in. I don't want it to toggle on and off.

Any AU plug-in that is loaded into Live 4.0.1 in OSX will cause problems if there are multiple instances of host tempo matching. For instance....if an oscillator is set to follow Live's tempo as well as a delay time.....the plug-in will cease to work properly.
