Re: I don't see Live 9.0.3 in my account
We've temporarily taken Live 9.0.3 down while we fix a final issue. It should be available again next week. In the mean time, if you've already installed 9.0.3 and are experiencing issues with plug-ins, please see this article for how to fix things: https://www.ableton.com/en/articles/plugins-silen...

Please, at least add support for links/aliases/shortcuts in the User Library folder structure. Having to move folders around to suite the software is... beyond words.
Sad. Just sad.

Re: New look Ableton website.
I vote to make this thread a sticky as an example to all web designers how things should (and should not) be done. The way to success is really, really simple - just read and learn the following by heart: condra's post: https://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?p=1445511#p1445511 googoo's post: https:...

Re: New look Ableton website.
Holy crud I just refreshed the forum... GAH! 8O :? Yikes! Looks like Ableton's web and marketing staff have been able to work freely without any sane input from the outside world. Big failure to let a product launch cripple the look and usability of the entire web site. What previously was a well l...

Re: OS X Lion 10.7.3 released "UPDATE"
I can only write my private experiences with Lion. I think Lion is way faster and more responsive than Leopard. Lion is in 64Bit mode fast and perfect for audio i did feel the difference from 32 bit. But again i guess it also depends on your maschine. If you got a powerfull maschine with intel proc...

Live Packs compatibility question
What is the official word on Live Pack compatibility in different versions of Live? It's a bit confusing when looking at the Downloads page; there are Live Packs for version 8 and then a section for Live 7 downloads with other Live Packs available and they're not the same as the ones for Live 8. Can...

Re: 8.2.2 just as buggy as ever
I use Live 8.2.2 with Omnisphere 1.5.4c with no issues. What problems with Live + Omnisphere do you have? I'll see if I can recreate them on my setup.dude rancher wrote:for those of you with no issues i dare you to use omniphere or tillian or max for live with either. serious problems exist with 8.2.2

Re: NAMM 2011 Roundup
I know it hasn't started yet (in a few hours I guess) and we already have a lengthy thread about Ableton at NAMM, but here's one to start reporting on what other new stuff gets announced. So far it seems like these two things will get press at NAMM. http://createdigitalmusic.com/2011/01/akai-turns-...

Re: NAMM 2011 :: Ableton Live 9
But to go a little step into a more serious direction. If we're talking about auto-upload functions, how about letting live upload crash packs automatically. I have to admit, due to having to open up my browser logging on my email account uploading the crash pack as an attachment and sending it off...

Re: Live in Windows on a Mac...worth it?
My experience with that: Running bootcamp'ed Windows XP, i could only see 3 gigs of ram but my machine had 12 gigs. A bootcamp'ed 64-bit version of Windows (be it XP, Vista or 7) would be able to see and utilize all your RAM. However, if your Windows applications are still 32-bit they won't be able...
