With the changes in live 7.14 to 8.0 in the warping department clips and ram suffered due to the new transient markers/these are ram hogs if you have alot of splits in your clips. there advice was to consolidate and loop and drag the clips , wich obviously isnt ideal if you dont wanto warp everythi...

I had in 1998 a powermac G3 266 with a 4 GB IDE disc. He played with cubase vst 24 tracks without disc dropouts. With my Macbook pro from 2008 and Live 8.1.1, i played 16 tracks (12 loops in session view, 3 tracks in arrange view) an getting every 2 bars disc dropouts. Fantastic this new technologie...

If you do the above, make sure that your APC is deselected in the Control Surface dropdown boxes or it will be overridden as a controller. i bought today an APC 40, but i'm a bit disappointed, that i can't control an external Synth per Midi with the APC.
On the internet i can't find without M4L no possibility to do this. Is there an VST plugin that somebody knows for intel macs?
Has somebody an idea?

Slowly it is becoming funny, 11 weeks of 8.05 betas and no sight to the final.
I will look at the ableton site in 1 year after 8.05b62 and hope to get the final.
But then i get an absolute bug free version (the first in the history of ableton)

i guess they wainting for Snow Leopard.....sorry to be prepared for Snow Leopard, but nobody has a soundcard driver for this new OS.

Thats all , Akai Support and 1 bug? How many betas yet? After 2 months of betas, when we get the final? Its a longer beta periode for 8.04 to 8.05 than the 8.00 beta periode.
