Re: Live 9 NEEDs to fix SRC algorithms

Live 9 is quite good in comparsion with other big DAWs like Logic 9, Cubase 6, Wavelab 6, Sadie 6, Samplitute 11 if you think about that Live 9 is made for fast realtime work. When you compare it with Audition or Protools, i guess you have never worked with it. The realtime functionality are pain in...

(55466994) Playing Clips with Keybord and Recording

- Record an Audio Clip in the session view
- pressing ctrl + M and assign the clip to the midikeyboard with a range of playable keys (i.e. C3 root, C2 low, C4 high)
- go to the arrange page and press record
- play C3, G3, G2, E3 and stop
- now play and hear

totally rubbish pitch for every clip

Re: so many glitches in ableton 9

Yes, the same glitch problem in Snow Leopard and Lion. Before Live 9 i had no problems to run in Live 8.3 64 or 128 samples buffer with the Fireface 800. Also on projects with higher trackcounts (32 tracks and more) Now in Live 9 it works also at the first view, but for instance i have a project onl...

Live 9 Wishlist : NO BUGS

Since Live 9 is comming out, Live becomes a bunch of creap. In the 64bit version: a lot of plugins crashing (they runs under Live 8.3), eveything clicks, crackles und coughs in the audiopath (when you using external fx and instruments), the most Live 8 Bugs are not fixed at all and so forth... I don...

Since Live 9 my UAD and Sugarbytes AU plugins(6.5.2) crashing the 64 Bit and 32 Bit version, if you moving or deleting the plugins while the GUI is open. The Ableton support means, it will be fixed sooner, if more people has this issue. I'm looking for participants! Platform OSX AU: Please, try movi...

Re: Sugar Bytes Turnado let crash Live 9.0.2b2

It just happens only with the 64 Bit version of Live 9. I had contact with sugar bytes and they told me, that it seems to be, that the 64 Bit version of Live 9 has an issue.
I tried the 32 Bit Live 9 version and it work fine.

Re: Does Ableton Even Care What People Want?

In all of the wishes of the user i see two features that was realized. The clip envelopes and the better browser.
The rest is the old crap, no GUI improvements, no dual monitor, no better metering, no multi clip editing, no nothing....
I'm asking myself why do they asking the user before?

Live 9 with no improvement in the GUI of the arrangeview

Everybody of my friends and me who is using Live 8 complaining about the complexity and the no separation of the tracks in the arrangeview. At the end of the day you using more energy to see what clip is in which track, where are the send tracks, in which bar i am when i´m zooming closely as to thin...
