On the night: 1. The Codine Pre-Emptive Strike (going to bed at 3am? Get the codine into you before going to sleep) 2. In extreme cases the Tactical Spew may be considered (the most powerful weapon in your drinking arsenal, however try to do in the crapper and not on the front lawn as my brother-in-...

Re: APC minimal edition
I think the problem here is that we aren't taking the macro economics of this proposal into account. To sell a separate unit with a different layout, they'd have to manufacture a completely different line of products , which would split up the sales between the two of them and potentially hurt the ...

It could also be like a carb craving thing too i.e. try eating a big pizza or something and see if the urge goes away. Rave, I must respectfully disagree. If there is one thing in the world that gives me the urge to drink beer, it's a big pizza. I don't think there is a better combination of food a...

Re: BAN ANIMAL EXPERIMENTS IN EU - VOTE NOW !
Guys, look after someone with a degenerative nuerological disease until their point of ultimate departure...and get back to me about animal tests, I'll hear you out if you've spoon-fed someone (maybe your young mother) and cleaned their ass for years and you still object to scientifically experimen...

Re: BAN ANIMAL EXPERIMENTS IN EU - VOTE NOW !
Surgeons can (and many do) start with cadavers and move on (under supervision) to live humans. You need to read Dr Greek's interview, start to understand that their may be an argument against the need for animals in (past, present, and most certainly future) human medical science. No animal's suffe...

Re: BAN ANIMAL EXPERIMENTS IN EU - VOTE NOW !
WRONG, human models are what is crucial to experimentation, far more humans die from using legal drugs than illegal ones. Animals are not a reliable model for the human model, and it costs human lives and tax dollars. Maybe your partner (and yourself) should go with the sentiments of that "bre...

Re: BAN ANIMAL EXPERIMENTS IN EU - VOTE NOW !
As awful as it sounds, animal experiments are a critical part of medical research. Without it research into very important areas would just grind to a halt. I'll declare my bias here - my partner is in medical research so I guess I see the 'other' side of it. She certainly takes no pleasure in it (i...

Re: Who are you, really?
Not to belittle anyone who attempts to learn Dutch and finds it difficult, mind, learning *any* language is hard as hell, but Dutch and English are like brother and sister (despite all of English's attempts to dress up as a Frenchmen and deny its glorious Germanic past), whereas Polish would be mor...
