is there a max device that can help show an external device controls in the clip envelop chooser so that envelopes can be recorded ? The top menu is the Device chooser, which selects a general category of controls with which to work. Device chooser entries are different for different kinds of clips:...

just one question........ say i have 3 drums mics coming into live on 3 audio tracks....if i want to use these audio tracks to trigger other samples....both legato and drum hits....how would i do that please?????

hi all and thanks for a great forum I play live drums in a duo and am trying to figure out how i can take a line out of my mixer with say a snare drum mic and trigger a MIDI event in Ableton live? the application would be say as a way to play a pad when a low gained mic pics up a loud hit on a floor...

yeah i dont want it to loop or be warped..i just want to record audio performance of live instrument as in a DAW...then be able to hit playback and hear it unwarped......

This must be possible. I just want to record live input into a slot in session view and I dont want it warped or looped or anything else?????
