[ I already asked this in the "maxforlive"-forum (because I need it for a new looper-patch I am working on, but the preset-management seems to be the same for "electric", e.g.) ]

ok, my question: I am wondering if there is a way to load adv-files/presets through the launching of a new scene ...

maybe I was kind of unclear ...

my question was not how to automate any knobs etc (I already do that), I just want to know how to load presets while launching scenes.

or maybe I do not understand the concept with "dummy clips" !?!

ok. I´m on a pc. that means to me that you have to build a mixerpatch in max which reflects your whole ableton setup and run it as rewirehost if you want both effectprocessing as well as synthesis done by max (and that also means that any mastering plugs have to be run in max if you want anything ...

is it possible to use maxmsp as a kind of effectprocessor for abletonlive, while max is in slavemode. means: streaming audio from live to max -> max does whatever the patch is intended for -> streaming back to ableton acting as the rewirehost ... is there a way to achieve that with rewire !? any ...
