Thanks guys, lots of useful replies here.
Buffer size : Good point, I'll try that. I actually should have mentioned that (don't remember if I did in my original thread), but I'm at 128 right now. When I do Live's built-in test, I'm OK at less than 64 - I can safely go down to 48, actually - but ...

Yet another latency thread...
Guys,
I have been using Live for a while and generally love it. I used to use it mostly for myself for electronic music, but have decided to try it this year at an annual show that buddies and I do, that is usually mostly acoustic, and am running into latency problems with the guitar.

No MIDI with 0404
Hi there,
So I just got me a E-MU 0404. I used to have a small Edirol MIDI interface (just a 30$ jobbie...MIDI in/out, that's it), and it worked fine. My keyboard is just and old Yamaha PSR, but it used to work fine with the Edirol.

Automatically selecting performances/multis
Anybody know of a way to have performances/multis loaded up in my hardware synths when I open a new Live set?
I was maybe thinking of getting Live to send a program change when loading up a set, but is there an actual function that allows me to do this?
Just one more way I'm lazy...=)
Cheers!

External Instrument - Duplicate Audio
Small problem - starting to discover External Instrument (to use Triton Extreme and XV-5050) but am finding that I get duplicate audio!
I don't see how this is possible, as it would have to mean every key is struck twice simultaneously, but if I mute the track's Activator, I get the pure feed from ...

Recording with S/PDIF
Hi there,
I know this has been covered before (I searched), but I could not find an answer.
I have a Triton Extreme, an Roland XV-5050 and an M-Audio Audiophile 24/96. The Triton is connected to the sound card's analog ins, and the XV is connected via RCA cable, to the S/PDIF in of the card.
