No bro, i understand the difference :) Its just this thing wouldn't let me route it from one channel to another. I figured it out though... :) I guess i have been in front of this computer for too long... :D Not thinking straight.

Thank you. But i'm still not getting it right. I'm not playing with any AUDIO tracks at the moment, all in MIDI.

Shouldn't I be able to choose MIDI Channel for my Bass in the drop down menu of my MIDI (KICK) channel? You should be able to send MIDI into MIDI correct?

Routing

I'm trying to do a side chain compression by sending my MIDI with Kick into other MIDI with Bass. The problem is, my MIDI Kick can only be routed to AUDIO tracks and MASTER, other MIDI channels are not even an option. Please help me identify the problem.

Cannot send midi into midi. Pease help
