Re: Diary of an idiot: I fixed my Doepfer Drehbank

I have loads of power cables but alas nothing 9v with 250 mA - a familiar tale I was wondering to try a 12v but dont want to blow it up thanks in adv...

Re: DRUM PATTERN HELP REQUEST

am not familiar with the track you mentioned and if the drums are playing on their own in isolation at any point... but if you have it as an audio file maybe bring that in to live and loop a bit of the drum section then use the right-click convert to midi function? This might give a good approximati...

Re: do you have Live 32 or 64 bit?

only 32 bit here still on snow leopard using a 2009 17 macbook pro Its taking me about 3 years to get everything just lovely on that machine, I could weep thinking about changing it all again. Re: Lion versus Snow Leopard

I stuck with Snow Leopard for ages, as I was finding the annual OS update cycle too quick - and I was quite happy with SL, so I skipped Lion. I was worried too about a machine that would be slower, incompatible with software etc after upgrading. However, I finally upgraded to Mountain Lion and it h...

Re: omg, I just downloaded the D-cam Synth Squad Demo.. And

Nice sounds I mean really fat! on the demo but I found if I stopped the main transport in live it resulted in massive speaker wrecking feedback which could only be killed by deleting that plugin instance. If I stopped the clip playing and then stopped main transport then doesn't happen what's that a...

Re: How much do I need to Partition to run on bootcamp?

I have got windows partition which started out as 15 gb, I found I needed more space later! I don't use ableton on the boot camp partition, just mainly for work stuff and sound forge which I really like as a wave editor. There's some software called camp tune by paragon that lets you resize your win...

Re: Copyright?? Sampling From Speeches/Spoken word

if you sell the track on beatport they take half your money, so would MLK estate get 33% of your 50% or 33& of the sales?

what about the option of doing an impersonsation ie saying the same words but using an actor to do the voice
