Anyone using the new Ableton / Softube tape effects? Curious on people’s thoughts and use cases.

I upgraded to Tahoe a couple days ago and running without issue here. I read few posts online where people had upgraded and things were running smoothly, so I felt comfortable giving it a shot.

I dont think its makes sense to start a new thread, but I’ve had to revert back to Live 11. The load times for 12 are any where from 5 to 15 minutes and v12 has introduced a lot of lag for me, although version 11 works flawless. I’ve never experienced anything like this and I’ve been a user ...

Native Instruments will have some expansion packs that will cover you, just covert them to Ableton format.

Nothing wrong with recording vocals in Live, especially now that comping’s available, Luna just seems to have an impressive sweet of processing options.

I managed to set up some routing a while back, where
my melody track triggered another track with a string vst and had it play along.

I can’t remember how I set that up, anyone else familiar?

Yeah completely understand, there was a lot of hype around its software, but it falls well short currently. I solely bought it for drums, which is where it truly excels. Nektar should be selling it as a one stop shop for drums, and just say it can do some other stuff to.

Just got the Aura 2 weeks ago and for drums, it’s untouchable. The pads and the sequencer integrate perfectly with drum racks. Still some work ahead on mapping synths tho.
