Yeah that is certainly not the issue. I am using the internal audio on the mac which is 44.1. The sample rate in live is set to 44.1. Pepehouse is right, no support for mp3s in Lite. You can use your media player to convert your mp3s to wav format or something similar though and it will be fine....
