i started with LIVE 1.5 for live performance only (i was producing with another host : Synapse Orion) in 2002
i ditched Orion in 2004, when LIVE 4 introduced midi and Vsti..

APC40 been working here perfectly for the whole of the beta process, suggest you re-install if you haven't done already...

9.1.3 will break external scripts for the APC so bear that in mind...

i have this problem too …
I was in contact with Waldorf about this, in early 2012 (and i was on OSX lion)
The problem is still there on Mountain lion too…
For this very reason , i'm not using it anymore…
I've tried in several host = Garage Band, Cubase LE…same results...

Just out of curiosity, do you have "Reduced Latency When Monitoring" enabled ?
I find that when this option is enabled, using PUSH is very glitchy with a lot of crackling..(when selecting tracks, arming tracks etc….)
