BitWig hasn't even been released! Surely Live is as good of a performance tool (or a significantly better one) today than when it was first released.

Performance is still one of its core focuses and always will be, but they've branched out into other areas and will continue to in the future ...

Ableton need to ditch the cloud sharing crap and serato bs and all the partner bs(more samples really?). and any other trendy bs.
Back to innovation, performance based, more time spent on session view.
live going more and more DAW is really bad and making it just another DAW.
Less DAW features ...

ableton 9 is not out yet because robert and gerhard are still trying to figure out whats trendy enough to put into to ableton to make it more slow.
they are still tryin to figure out what other shit to copy into live 9. they are trying to figure out how to integrate facebook and twitter into ableton ...

Do any of you Realize that everyone on this forum keeps bitching about ableton being more DAW like logic, cubase..etc
so when they add all that bullshit...it gets fucking buggy and it make ableton less of a live too and more dj software and DAW bullshit.

ableton 7 was 100 mb file ableton 8 is 1.5gb too much bloat too much nonsense added to it.

ableton needs to run more efficiently, memory, processor usage etc.
gfx interface, usage, etc....needs tighter coding
