Realise this is way old, but just for the sake of others finding this - mine is working when it's by it's self on a track - not grouped.
If I try to run it grouped - as part of an instrument rack - it crashes Ableton.

Export Audio/Video - Selected Tracks Only - Separate MIDI & audio tracks from a multi-output synth/sampler - not working
Bit of a complicated one this but I'll try and be brief - Basically, when I export audio using 'Selected Tracks Only', certain tracks are not being included that should be. I've used bussing to make the process of creating stems less labour intensive - so I have buses called, "drum stem", ...

Re: Auto-warp settings
Sorry but no, you have it wrong beats is for drums and percussion or anything with sharp transits tones is for monophonic material like vocals and bass texture is for poly stuff then complex is perfect for a mix of material like a track or if are having problems with the other modes Thanks for repl...

Re: Auto-warp settings
Complex and complex pro reduce the quality of the audio. "Beats" mode is the best way to warp while maintaining audio quality for me because it simply plays from one transient to the next. So long as you tell it to then just stop - instead of then going backwards as the default is (so chan...

Auto-warp settings
I would like to see some settings available for auto-warping - by which I mean, when you import a piece of audio, or record some audio, and Live guesses the placement of the warp markers. Currently Live puts warp markers a bit of the way up each note - assuming that a bit of the sound occurs before ...

Side-by-side comparison - 64bit vs. 32bit - notice anything?
I'd really like to here some 1st hand user experience by people who are now running full sets purely at 64 bit.
Has anyone in this situation tried loading up - or mixing down from - the same set but running Live at 32 bit - and doing a side-by-side comparison of the result?

Re: Live + 3rd party plugins = FAIL
Download the CamelSpace demo. Set your tempo to 140BPM. Create a track with a basic four on the floor kick. Create a track with a drum loop and CamelSpace on it. Set it to a simple gating pattern and turn off it's other effects. Hear how out of time it is with the kick? Or let's use your example. C...

Re: Live + 3rd party plugins = FAIL
Okay I'm starting to understand this more now. I use Ozone 5, which is one plugin that does introduce these problems if an instance is used early on in a chain (i.e. on a group/bus). I guess I'll stick to just using it on the master. What would be good is to know a bit more about the latencies intro...

Replacing missing samples - candidate system rubbish
I was trying to resurrect an old DJ set from a couple of years ago and there were a bunch of library samples that were missing - sine_1, sine_2 etc. There were about 200 in total. I found them somewhere else - pointed live towards them and clicked on 'Go'. It then said that it had found one candidat...

Re: Bug in Follow Actions
I've been having a major problem with follow actions on my live laptop. I've got my songs set up in groups of scenes that work through the same every time. Its been working with the rest of the band I play with for over a year now, but about two months ago something weird started happening. It start...

i just had this too - no idea why i've not had it before since i haven't been upgrading to newer versions.
i used my mp3 program to turn my mp3s into wavs and then put them into the ableton that way which worked. still annoying though.

Library structure and missing samples are a mystery
I've had to re-install Windows recently and I pointed Live 8 to my library folder once I'd put it back on the computer. It reinstalled a load of things and spent ages scanning the files. Now, when I put an electronic Impulse instrument in it can't find the samples. They're in 'library\waveforms\drum...
