I found it easiest to use the external instrument device on midi tracks within Live to send midi/recieve audio from Combinators within Reason...
But yeah, open Live, then open reason, tinker away.

Yep. I haven't got one, but my understanding is that the monome works with OSC, so in order to run monome apps an M4L patch is required to translate the OSC data into MIDI and back again. If I'm wrong, I'm sure others will correct me.... ;) Wrong. M4L has nothing to do with using Nonome. You run it...

Yep.

As previously mentioned, you'll need a MIDI to keystroke converter.
