Re: Wired/Wireless/Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard on OSX MBP?

Thanks guys! I think I was hesitant because my experiences with bluetooth and windows have been miserable! :0 I'm going for the mac bluetooth keyboard and a logitech bluetooth mouse per the general consensus so far...

Wired/Wireless/Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard on OSX MBP?

:?: So I'm using Live 8 on Mac OSX, have any of you noticed any real impact on performance or practicality from using a bluetooth mouse/keyboard combo vs.a wireless or wired one? I'm thinking of going bluetooth to free up a USB port on my 2008 15" MBP 2.2Ghz, but I'd love to know if any of you ...

Re: Session Drums in Suite 8 - Another question

I'm feeling a bit lost on the mangement of my live packs as well.... Just upgraded from Suite 7 to Suite 8 (download option). Is there a resource that explains what users need to do up So CONFUSED, and worried that I have not realized the full goodness of the upgrade!

Bummer. That's what I thought. :( Since I have the extra CPU, I'll probably continue to run multiple instances and just use dummy clips to trigger the different chains as necessary while in session view, but doesn't this seem like a no-brainer for the plug-in companies to support? @Jekblad: Nice sol...

Is there a way to automate patch changes, not just alter the existing patch's parameters? Hoping to achieve this with dummy clips, but can't figure out how to do this....

Dummy Clip Libraries?

Anyone know of a repository of premade dummy clips with different parameters (i.e. - fades, panning curves, stutters, etc)? I'd love to just have a bunch on hand to play with with while writing/jamming.

If nothing like that exists already, is anyone willing to post links to the ones they have?

So..... Would another potential benefit of this approach be that you could then copy your bus tracks (and their effects and preset levels) between saved projects? Unless I'm missing something, you can't do that with returns. I currently use returns for a bunch of delay and reverb with specific setti...

Help:Realtime external guitar effects into software amp sim

Hi gang. I just moved to London from Seattle. My gear is still on a boat, so I can't try it myself right now, but due to the particulars of my flat, there's no chance of using an amp to record my guitar tracks as I originally hoped. I think my only hope is to use my external pedal effects in conjunc...

Oh - Tarekith - You can be jealous now. (of my logic setup.) I'm blown away by how fast my workflow is on the MC Mix..... Once Ableton offers full EuCon support, every Live owner will want one of these....

So after several emails back and forth with Euphonix customer support (who are AWESOME, by the way) I got it to work with Logic, but the reason it doesn't work properly with Ableton live is because they have not fully implemented Mackie Control Emulation. Basically this means that unless you have Lo...

Faders feel good - but it's so buggy as to be unusable for any real work. Live is not technically supported by the MC MIX, but it does have Mackie emulation, which seems to be either poorly implemented, or broken. (Someone please prove me wrong)

Don't be jealous yet..... So far it's a weak replacement for the MCU I just sold to help pay for it. Buggy as hell.

Euphonix MC MIX / LIVE 7.02 Hands-On

 Trying to connect a Euphonix MC MIX http://www.euphonix.com/artist/products/mc_mix/app_support.php to Live 7.02. I can get it to connected to Live on Eucon midi channel 5, but it only works with the first 8 tracks of the project. Does anyone know the correct way to configure these two success...
