launching samples
Hey,
is there a way to turn on/off triggering samples in live's browser? All of the sudden I have to load a sample as a clip or into drum rack or something just to hear it. I used to be able to just click on a sample once and scroll down the screen to listen to subsequent samples
Thanks

acoustic piano
I think the problem is all the different names for the instruments in live. I have a feeling the grand piano is not actually called grand piano. Anyways I have the eic pack but dont see any acoustic piano sounds.

Is there an acoustic piano sound in live?
I've been looking for days for just a grand piano sound in live 7. I've had no luck at all. I don't have operator, tension, electric, or sampler yet. But I would think an acoustic piano would be included with the basic live 7.
Thanks

whats the best way to sample in ableton?
I've been using the drum rack to sample since I upgraded to live 7.
I havent been able to find a way to speed up the time with the drum rack though. I used impulse with live 6 and you can adjust the time with that but you only have 8 sample pads and when you adjust the time it sounds kinda choppy ...

ALSO
Is it just me or is this annoying as hell. After you drop a sample into either impulse or drum rack, you cant drop the sample back out to manipulate it tha way. Am I missing something here? cause if I need to find that same sample in the middle of a song I have to go back and find it, in the middle ...

Speeding up samples
Is there a way to speed up a sample dropped into the drum rack? I know this can be done using impulse but the drum rack is so much cooler, except I cant figure out how to QUICKLY manipulate the speed at which a sample plays.
Thanks

Changing tempo mid song
I use Live to record guitar alot and I would like to know how to change tempo mid song. For example have the first half of the song be 100 bpm
and the second half be 150 bpm. I would like to do this in the arrangement view when I'm recording (i.e. record at 100bpm/ stop/ change tempo/ record at new ...
