You can play the synths in Reason, or you could record loops from Reason into Live for immediate use, or you could play tracks in Reason along with loops & tracks in Live...

I would personally avoid using them together since it just might be too cool...

Like .ape files, which nicely reduce the size of a .wav by about 50%.

On the other hand, I don't know if such files can be played back or not...

I've been getting a crackling on the headphone outs. I've been trying to use 1+2 as the master out and 3+4 as the headphone outs. Are there any latency settings I should be aware of that could induce the crackling?

Or is it possible to load something like a song into one track (not by adding the loops one by one)?

Avoid SB products like the plague. After a fair bit of research, I decided on an Emagic 2|6. It is pricier, but is rock solid. You should also be looking at USB interfaces - that would be less than any PCMCIA card.

Looking for a USB interface and while the Emagic 2|6 is tried and true, it has no mic pres, which is quite limiting. Has anyone used an M-Audio Duo with Live on a PC? If so, how was performance?
