I'm currently creating the soundtrack for a film and would like to use the 8.4. beta for this. Unfortunately, there's no support for video tracks in the beta version right now. Is there any hack or workaround to make video working here? Maybe using Live to control an external video application via R...

I'm trying to recall KAPTURE Snapshots with my footpedal, unfortunately the snapshots are not mappable via MIDI:



Is there any way to do this or am I missing something here?

Also still having this problem on Mac 10.5.7 and Ableton 8.0.3 – i bought a software i can't use…

As well made an upgrade to 8.0.2 on Mac OS X (10.5.6) – problem still exists. Whenever i make my Live window bigger than around 1000px, everythings slows down. I tried to unplug my second monitor, reboot and i don't know what else, nothing helps. I hope the Abletons come up with a solution to this a...

Exactly. What a weird bug. Live 8 is running fine as long as the window size does not exceed about 1000px width. Crazy crazy bug.

Could any of the Ableton officials post a reaction on this please?

I'm on a MacBook 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, running Mac OS 10.5.6 and have exactly the same problem. The GUI responds really slow and everything seems to run at a screen refresh rate of 10 frames per second.
Any tips on what to do besides updating Mac OS?

Just bought it and recognized that the interface reacts really slow. Moving buttons takes really long, there's an increased delay compared to version 7. Almost looks like the screen refresh rate would be low.
Anyone got this problem too?

What about Native Instruments Audio Kontrol? It is a combination of Soundcard and Control-Surface - you get an big Knob and 3 Buttons and you can assign many DJ-ish parameters to them, e.g. X-Fader to the Knob and Effects to the Buttons.
