hi,
i'm having a problem with 4.0.3 that i did not have with previous versions. i don't seem to be able to change the available hardware inputs under input config. i can change it on the input config screen and hit ok, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

ok, i now realize that i can send midi tracks to vst fx instruments, just not au's. au would be nice at some point. at least i don't have to start using cubase. : )

is there any way to send midi note gate info to a vst or au fx instrument? say, for example, fm7 fx on an audio track.
