I think you should dirty up the HH and perc a bit though with some distortion to fit with the kick a bit more.

I have "Select next scene on launch" ticked in the preferences but the next scene is not selected. Is there anything else that could be causing this??

Back and forth. Sounds nicely balanced in the mix. Voice sample sounds sweet and kind of scares the shit out of me. The only thing that is standing out is that crash cymbal – I would loose that. Perhaps dirty up the bass a bit after the first break so it kicks in a bit stronger. Just behind the left...
