Styrus group buy

I hate spammers as much as the next guy, but I figured I'd post this to try to get more buyers to get the group buy price lower. This synth sounds damn good, and the last thing I need is another softsynth, but I won't be able to resist if more buyers sign up.

5.01 and .02 have both been rock solid, NO crashes, I also have a lean install with very few services running, no network, antivirus, etc. I'm even losing my old habit of saving every few minutes that I learned from back in the days of Cubase.

I wouldn't mess with cassette, the quality is shit compared to real analog tape. I don't know if you can still buy 1/2" tape anymore, but if you could get a hold of decent reel to reel and some tape, it would sound way better than any cassette. Actually a 4 track might be something to consider ...

You're not alone, and the bug still exists in Live 5 also, read through this thread. http://www.ableton.com/index.php?main=forum I really hope Ableton does something to resolve this, it's really hard on us who use Ableton for tracking live instruments. What you can do as a workaround, is set the mon...

This is the same point I have been making over & over in this thread. So I will say it a third time now (actually 4 times including Machinate's comment ;)). You shouldn't be software monitoring any external instruments you play in realtime while recording into Live. You're going to hear yoursel...

I have an old Dynaco solid state amp from the 70's powering my monitors. It works really well, sounds good, and louder than hell too. I think any decent high end amp will do the trick, Carver, Adcom, etc. You can find them second hand for not much $. I paid $50 for my Dynaco. But I agree, for the mo...

the built in recording latency compensation only works when the monitor is turned off - so "monitoring through the air" in this case means monitoring through hardware, not through live. It should line up then. Does it work? Yes it works when monitor is off, but why doesn't it work when mo...

http://members.shaw.ca/hypertone/latency.jpg Here's what I'm talking about. Notice how in Tracktion if I do the same thing, it lines up perfectly, I can zoom in all the way and it is aligned with sample accuracy. So why does Live do this? If I turn off monitoring, and re-record, it lines up, why? I...

I'm talking about latency when recording a hardware synth, playing it realtime on the keys, I don't even use midi. I can play so tight and in the pocket, I can feel when I'm playing that it is perfect. Then I play back the recorded track and it's off, and if I zoom in, I can see that it's late, so I...
