But seriously, don't forget to check your audio setting in windows. Sounds simple but it's easy to forget that step while you're adjusting setting in ...

Please help....UA20

Hello. I have a Edirol Ua20. I used to have no problems at all with it until I reinstalled windows. If I set the buffer to a usable setting, Live works fine but then playing mp3s (in winamp, etc.) is choppy as hell. I can't seem to get them both working smoothly at the same time like I used to. Are t...

I can understand the USA being cautious of letting people in, but that's getting a little ridiculous. I wouldn't hand over that much information to anyone for any reason. As far as I know, Dj's and vinyl had nothing to do with terroist attacks on us ;)

I would love to see them make something like Sony Vegas. They would blow it away. By the way, where is that photo on your post taken from? That's a hell of a crowd.

Avi, mpeg, or mov support.....I know....I know

I know it would change the whole purpose of Live, but I do everything else in Live now and I would love to stay in the one program for everything. I score to video in Acid 4 now and I don't think I would even still use Acid if Live could do video. I'm on a PC so the quicktime thing that's out there ...

Recording with Windows Service pack 2

Hello. Is there anyone that installed service pack 2 for windows that had problems with recording afterwards? The last time I installed it, everything went nuts with my system. Any stories on successfully using it on your music computer? Thank you. Please email me because I don't know if I'll get ba...

I do see your point in a way. I do wish there was a way of uninstalling if you don't want or need it right now. Cause there may be a time when I want to mess with it and program the hell out of it and then I can't save any of it. But then again....if that happens I'll buy it :).

I can't believe there is still talk of Operator. I posted about it but the price isn't the problem for me. I just don't really need another FM synth right now. Like the above post said, its a different product. Because you paid for Ableton (which some of you didn't but whatever), Ableton shouldn't s...

I've tried that. Works great. I once made a Balrog sound for a game that started out as a cow mooing. I think there was some dog barks in there too but it was a while ago :)

Great "Evil" choir sounds

Hello. I'm sure alot of you have already tried this, but if you need evil sounding choirs for a soundtrack etc..run your choir sounds through the grain delay plugin of Live. Wow! You can get some incredible results from it. Just thought I'd share that.

Man, that pisses me off! If guys like him had any idea how hard putting together a sample or sound effect CD was maybe they would think twice....but probably not. Years of research and development go into it. If you can't afford them then make do with what you have. You'll find that you are forced t...

I don't get it.

Let me start by saying I'm a HUGE fan of Ableton and Live. But I just tried the demo of Operator and I really don't hear any difference between that and say something like the freeware program "Crystal". And Crystal is capable of even more (at least it seems that way, I only tried Operator...
