M4L devices seems generally not available for clip automation. They don't appear in the device list, even though they are in the track effects chain, and have parameters.
I originally intended to ask how to make M4L parameters available for envelopes (in general), but then I realized ...

crash on envelope pasting
One more serious bug (in my list ranked as #2 after the random 4-5 sec audio cutouts and before sequencer loop clicks when combining with Reaktor ( http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5873 ):
Live crashes frequently (more often than not) when I try to paste an envelope from one clip to ...

It is perfectly possible to create a RAM disk and run audio to/from it. I used RamBuctions in os9; its also available for osX (http://www.clarkwoodsoftware.com/rambunctious). If you're on a PC, I'm sure similar solutions exist in that world too.

Reaktor VST Fx in Ableton Live
I used to get Reaktor 3 to work as a vst plug-in in Live 1.5.2 (after a lot of hassle), but now in Live 2 the only Reaktor plug that shows up in the vst list in Live is the one in mono. Boring!
I've read a post in the Reaktor forum about Live and the 'ugly vsti host' (downloaded the program, haven ...
