Does anyone know if this was addressed at all in live 6?


I fixed it with a dualcore

Had a student that has a 3.6 GHz Pentium, gig of RAM, MOTU 828 ... Live 5

Same exact problem. As bad as mine was, we could not continue the project

We had him upgrade to 6, installed it, same project: FIXED ...

right before 6 went from Alpha to beta your man sweetjesus here did a big post about how much arrange performance saddened him

we all joined in and made a big deal about it

they postponed the beta, worked round the clock for a couple of days and came back with the improvements you see now before ...

I'm using the full version of Live 6 and the demo of Guru. Live will crash when I try to drag a midi pattern from Guru to Live.

From what I can do with Guru, I actually like it a lot, but too bad it won't work with Live 6.


does it crash when dragging to arrange view, session view, or both?

6.01: Library Content not installed

Installed 6.01, nothing was installed in my Library -- the directories are there on disk and in the browser but there is no content.

I pointed my Library in preferences to the old Beta library, so for the time being I can still get some content .... but assuming there were additions I am missing ...

it simply means using a new paradigm that allows say ... detachable interface elements ... OR ... simultaneous dual waveform views .. OR ... seeing multiple ...
