Enhanced mid export for clips

It would be nice if Live would export several marked clips at once. Perhaps like this: upon horizontal selection (clips are on different tracks) it will merge the clips including their midi channel number into the resulting file. The longest clip determine the overall length. A vertical selection fo...

Looking at "Reaktor Session" which is exactly what you propose there might be a chance for it at a later time. Just a guess.

Re: Ableton Live 8 "SHARE"

SHARE is one of the greatest tools any DAW has come up with in recent memory... FL Studio (formerly known as Fruity Loops) has a collab tool since years. And honestly, the idea to include Max isn't new either since FL8 incoporates Synthmaker. ;) Don't get me wrong, I love the new features and drool...

Is it possible to load midi files in Max to manipulate them? That's what I miss in Reaktor. I'm not talking about processing of realtime midi input (to avoid misunderstanding).

Honestly I had a hard time learning Reaktor but think I'm sort of skilled now (at least there's a nicely rated Ensemble of me in the userlib). Afterwards tried SE and SM which of course went much quicker. So what do you guys expect to be the learning curve for MAX? I'm not sure if I want to learn a ...

The only thing that annoys me: all of you §%&!!# will siege the server 24/7 to join the 1st beta-cycle. But women and children first, did you know that?

Btw, I'm a 10 year old woman and therefore allowed to jump the queue! :D

Re: Mapping chain selecter to keys

I want to be able to move the rack chain selecter with computer keys i.e. Having one group of effects assigned to number 1, next to number 2 etc. but it seems I can only assign 1 key. Is there a way around this? Don't know if it helps but you can select the chain in an Audio Effect Rack by using th...

Of course there's a need for oscilloscopes. Especially if you learn to use modular systems. They show you what you deployed with your modulation source(s).

For example: no spectral analyzer displays a mixed lfo&envelope-signal.
