I'm not the one to ask; as I said, I've only been messing around with the demo for a while. I'll probably get the full version this week. If you're asking about Logic - that has been very stable for me on my G4. More so than Cubase SX. I never had problems with CPU load, but I'm not someone who uses ...

Thats a killer setup lo-fi... real clean lookin. What do you produce?

Thanks :)
Hiphop mostly. Sometimes house of the Moodymann/Theo Parrish variety.

It's true what I said about only ever really using the MPC though. I should really get rid of half the stuff I've got and get a smaller Mackie. I ...

I don't think you should compare Logic to Live. I've used Logic for a long time (Cubase before that), and I think it's the best program of it's kind. Of it's kind meaning DAW software that emulates a traditional recording studio (mixer, multitrack recorder, FX, etc...).

The thing is that a lot of ...

So the Ozone needs an external PSU to operate? Damn.

How is the sound quality for sampling vinyl (through an external phono preamp of ...

I like it! I'm a great Tom Waits fan so I was afraid that you'd done something horrible with it, but it's cool. It sounds Moodymann-esque at times, which is good. There's a bit too much ...

After using the big software sequencers you really start to miss and appreciate the limitations of hardware. They force you to be resourceful and creative with the entire process, another thing that I need to keep my interest alive. So along comes Live and ...
