just connect its middle outlet to the "matrixctrl" inlet and in the pattr object inspector switch "Parameter mode enable" on

from then on the contents of the matrixctrl will be saved with the Live set

you have to:

- select the control surface
- deactivate the component "Session_Control"

and then operate on the control "Button_Matrix" with message in the format:

"call send_value x y value"

where x,y are the coordinates of the button and value is a value between 0 and 6

i am not 100% sure if i understood your demands right but if you want to enable some MIDI controllable controls to send OSC you can do this easily with Max for Live

you take a live.dial object (which is mappable to a MIDI controller), use its output to generate a OSC message and send it to the ...

i just tried Maschine (version 1.1.0.025) on Live 8.1.1 on my quadcore mac pro (snow leopard 10.6.2) - seems to work find for me

what version of software do you use ? could you test it if this problem still persists with the newest versions (Maschine, Live ?
