does anything show up in the Disk Utility? Do any other USB based devices work on it? Does the drive show any signs of life when you plug the USB in? What format do you have the drive in?

novamusik is good! That's where I bought my mopho, I've bought other stuff from them also.
edit: their listing mentions a 'pre-order special'. Email them and ask them about it, even though it's not actually pre-order anymore. They may or may not help you out in that regard!

Here is the data sheet for the original patch. It looks like that algorithm uses 3 carriers, each with their own modulator. One of the modulators feeds back on itself.
