The thing is, I read somewhere that somebody felt the timing was awfully loose on the IAC MIDI bus, and that rewire was much tighter. They were talking about Logic though, and did express that Logic might be the culprit...

Anyone know if you aren't on a PC? No MIDI is getting to Live.

I think this might involve the object midi_adrewire , but I can find no helpful references to this in manuals, help files, or online.

Yes please! Seems easy to make a MIDI instrument. Please make.

We need a simple step sequencer that we can insert per track before whatever instrument we desire with full MIDI learn as an alternative performance input method. Think of the power of being able to turn any MIDI input device (or computer keyboard) into a step sequencer. CAN I HAS?

It's not that difficult to learn if you understand the fundamentals of synthesis. If your understanding is more intuitive, it might be a little tricky for you. I ordered the boxed version on October 3rd, I think, and it's still not here (vancouver). The Ableton FAQ says I should have recieved an email from FedEx, which I haven't, so I emailed orders@ableton.com on the 16th or 17th and I haven't heard anything from them, either. Well, I'm using my TI with a Mac, but, otherwise, same idea. 1) For a while, I couldn't use the USB outs on the TI. As of 1.1, I can. 2) Initially, I couldn't use my M-Audio Quattro with the TI. There was a conflict between their drivers...I couldn't even have the Quattro driver installed without it...
