Audio glitches when cueing on/off

Hi all, I have this awful problem. Anytime i cue (in/out) a track in headphones live makes this glitch on the main outs. Something like 12/16 tracks playing (only wavs, no softsynths, and a few effects), moderate cpu usage (50%). I had this problem with L5 and now L6. Anyone else experiencing simila...

Yesh, i'm on the same boat. i have an echo indigo dj and a fw410. the indigo dj works noticeably better than the 410 in terms of latency. the 410 at 512 samples suffers quite a bit, and we're talking of moderate cpu usage (50%). the echo does much better (although not perfect) but as i'm planning on...

Thanks Buleriachk, i also saw your posts on NI forum.
It seems that there's not many people with an ak-1 yet, and the majority that show up, show up because of those stupid problems of the original firmware.

I'll check that.

Hey michael, you said you did some multichannel stuff in the past, could you tell us about your subjective experiences? What worked, what did not, where did you show the work, how about the public, what were your expectations, etc?

The purpose is to experience something new both to me as a performer and the audience as public. And have fun. And learn as much as possible from that. :D

Thanks for sharing your points of view. As subasshead correctly presumed, i don't think electronic music = dance music. Dance music certainly is just an aspect of a wide spectrum of electronic musical manifestations. On the other hand, just to clarify my intentions...I do NOT pretend to do an academ...

Thanks guys. So, it seems there's still a lot to be done in that respect, and for now all we have are workarounds... Michael-SW: I don't think dance music is supposed to be "simple" or "obvious", all the contrary, we should be thinking how to take it forward. In that respect, i feel there's lot to b...

But how do you pan it with x/y control in live, if you have no possibility of doing real surround control with it? I mean, you could have 4 busses, each going to a different surround channel, and control how much of each channel goes to each channel with sends, but not much more than that, am i right?

Surround / quadraphonic sound techniques? Anyone?

Hi, It seems most people is still doing stereo, while i feel that we should be pushing forward, so I wonder, is anyone using live on a quadraphonic or 5.1 setup? How? What have been your experiences? What books/sites do you recommed to grasp more technique regarding surround sound (speaker placement...

I'm on the same boat. Damn NI, the AK1 seems SO SWEET...in the specs at least. WHY CAN'T YOU MAKE IT RIGHT!!! Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I want one badly, but those problems in NI forums are scary. Nevertheless, if it's "as easy" as a firmware upgrade, it should be stable in the near future...
