Live not supporting this is a pain. I often need to merge two projects and at the moment it's just a nightmare if both of them use sends, or automation on the master track.

Has anyone else encountered a problem where if iTunes is running when you're working with tracks in Live which live in the iTunes library, the .asd files get deleted from time to time?

Causes havoc with live - re-analysis occurring at random times, cutting off the music.

Won't be anything to do with the bitrate. 160kbit isn't exactly hi-fi but you shouldn't have problems with legibility. If top producers can get great results sampling old scratchy 78"s then you should be able to do an infinitely better job with a clearly recorded 160kbit MP3.
