Yea, I have been reading that live has a problem with Vista, xp is no problem to get. For pc's tho, pentinium or athlon tho? These dual core processors confuse me. Does Live work better with them? And glad to hear the flame war still continues, lol! I have always used pc's, because of the ease of op...

Im looking to get back into the groove by buying a new laptop and stuff, just wanted to see whats up to date and what has changed since then. Previously I had a 2.0ghz laptop(which...

Personally I think this is Bull! 2.1 just came out not too long ago, and suddenly a new update? what happened to 2.2, 2.5... or any other update? And to make it even worse, I just upgraded in July, that means I missed the upgrade date! Ableton should have concentrated on fixing 2.x instead of tring ...

I went to my local radio shack and bought 3 ground loop isolators and they work li...

trust me on this.. dont waste your money on a cheap laptop, you will regret it. wait a couple of months and save just a couple more dollars.. you can get a pretty decent laptop for $1000-1200. just remember that you will have to spend some money on a external sound card to have decent latecy and sou...

I made the switch about a year ago and never regretted it! XP is amazingly stable(from using osx on a powerbook), it has suprassed my expectations of operating systems. My say in it, GO FOR IT, make the switch, you'd be a fool not to.

Dont know why.. tried both, but i prefer FAT32.. for some reason when i had NTFS instaled on my drive, it would not let me download the important xp updates... and yes you do have to do it before you load your programs, it requires a reformat of your drive
