You could use a cable that steps the voltage down to 5v or 7v. That's what I did with a noisy intake fan (connected directly to the power supply). Bandcamp is very good - simple and works well. Same with Soundcloud (although there's no decent support of a body of work like an EP or album - 'sets' aren't very good imho). I did contact NI directly and they offered to take the hardware unit and inspect it, then repair or replace. They only refund delivery up to £12 though but even the basic UPS etc. is at least £40.
