Re: pre/post Effect divergence
Hey, simple, let's say the effects on the track are a reverb and a delay; if I record the guitar -track armed- I can hear both effects, if I just play the guitar but I don't record -track not armed- the audio I hear doesn't go through the effects. Ok. What I get from what you are saying now is that...

Re: pre/post Effect divergence
Hello, here's what's happening to me: I have one audio track with audio from a guitar through an interface and and some effects on it, when I play directly into the track the track without arming it -so not recording- the result is different than when I play with the track armed -so recording-... w...

Automation issues with Guitar Rig in Ableton Live
I put Guitar Rig 5 on a new Audio track and then group the instruments and effects, then I map my macro control to whatever piece in my Guitar Rig set-up, such as the volume pedal. It all works fine and I can record the audio along with the midi automation, but as soon as I add a new Guitar Rig inst...

Looking for digital audio mixer that keeps channels separate
So I am starting to look for a good mixer that I can use to record live music in Live but I am not sure how to distinguish between the mixers that send a composite signal vs a mixer that keeps each channel separate which can be sent to each channel within Live...

Re: Trying to get my M-Audio KeyRig25 to work in Live 8
nevermind... I found the solution... initially I chose O2 since this model is similar to that one... I also tried restarting Live which worked.
Always try restarting the application first!

Does anyone have any drum sets they are willing to share?
ok I have Live 8 and I have been trying to build a professional sounding drum set for a long time now. I am close but I cant seem to find many good sounding symbols and snares. Does anyone have any custom files they could share with me? I need something that sounds as realistic as possible. I really...

Re: Trying to find best sound card for using Guitar Rig in Live
yes, an audio interface would most likely be the solution to your problem. what kind of computer do you have? custom built or store bought? do you know what firewire chipset the motherboard has? what expansion slots do you have open? I have a custom built pc I made a few months ago: Intel i7 quad c...

Re: Trying to find best sound card for using Guitar Rig in Live
Motu Ultralite. Job done. lol nice but its out of my price range  . I'm looking to spend a maximum of $200 USD Then you're looking to have relatively high latency. Also I'm confused as to what you mean when you say you don't need the "input hardware" on the M-Audio. You have to have ...

Trying to find best sound card for using Guitar Rig in Live
I want to use Reason 4 and Guitar Rig 3 within Live as VST plug-ins but I have no sound card, just onboard sound. There is like 187 ms of latency and I want to get that as low as possible. I run latest version of Live on Vista 32-bit system with i7 Quad core CPU and plenty of ram. Would a sound card...

Hey jackass, I got Live with a keyboard I bought. And if I was a pirate, I could just download the latest version.McQ714 wrote:then a sound card is definitely the problem. and don't forget to download and install the latest version of Live 7. unless of course you can't... pirate!
