Ok, here is the deal: Load your clips into ram in Live and then do your export. It will work. Alternately, upgrade to CubaseSX 3.0...when I did, I no longer needed load Live clips into ram for the export to work. Live 4.0 + CubaseSX 3.0 = bliss! I too had the beep problem when rewired to Cubase SX 2.02. Since I upgraded to SX 3.0 the problem is solved! For me Live 4.04 rewired to Cubase SX 3.0 (Windows XP) works perfectly. I highly recommend to those having this problem with SX 2.0 to upgrade to 3.0. For Nuendo users, Nuendo 3 has been ...

SX 3.0

Also had this problem. With SX 3.0 I don't need to put samples in ram anymore to do a mixdown without gaps. Live 4.04 with SX 3.0 in rewire mode is very smooth here (Windows XP AMD machine).
