Re: ABLETON LIVE 8.01 SHIT

I just realised that I am not able to switch the loops on or off by using the assigned midi key on my controller. Everything else works fine. What am I missing??

Re: ALDJ forum down - anyone else or is it just 'me' ??

Good hint! Thanks, Bagatell! But I was suspecting to let some of the "known suspects" show up here. I was away of the internet for some days and came back this morning and was suddenly shocked for not being able to catch up with the latest news of the ALDJ world :p Oh, I just tried it agai...

'cos I am playing with a full band without click and will have to trigger my loops manualy without quantize and sometimes i fuck up and will have to star...

Re: NI Audio Kontrol 1 (Question)

That´s an easy one ;)

Just hit APPLE-M and click on the control you want to assign to the big knob.

For the F9-key, just change the behaviour in the system preferences of the mac OR re-map the key in the AK1 control software to something else...

MIDI controlled Itunes browsing + clip loading in Live (MAC)

Ok guys, as it seems that Live 8 doesn´t really provide any news on the browser (categories, sorting options, ID3 implementation etc...) and because a lot of us are using iTunes for music organisation and drag&drop to load the clips...I had the idea to develope a way to browse through your playl...

Yes, I would like to have the old way in Live 8, too!

I always hated to zoom in Arrangement view and I don´t like to have it like this in clip view. Especially in a live performance situation uncomfortable to handle.

I know some of the guys personally and can say that there is no secret godfather in the background. Maybe it´s Busy-P (Pedro Winter) who is doing a great marketing job for the label and having brilliant business contacts.

I was remembered of the big D-O-S attack against this board...etc.

Good to hear that it will be back soon.

RIOT SCHOOL - SCHOOL'S OUT! (a quite hard one)

So, this is I think my 4th mix. No cheap tricks (ahh besides Fade-to-grey and very few Beat-Repeat  ) just plain layering of songs. My last two mixes were pumped with Beat Repeat's and jugle effects, tried to stick mostly away of them these time. Anyway, I think this one is really interesting e...

Some say that the new (!!! not these fisher price ones!) are quite good if you are searching for an integrated interface. Or take a look on the VCI´s from Vestax.

This question shows me that you never really worked with Ableton Live before? (Don´t want to be offending)... There is no "backspin" feature in Ableton Live...you can not scratch with it. You can not even cue in the classic way while turning the jog wheels. There are ways to use them, but ...

I see the problem in the reliabilty of the interface. Happend more than once to me that I got crackling and stuttering in the sound...needing to reboot my Mac. And this is a common well known problem of the BCD. Some say it does not happen on Windows XP machines...can´t tell but I am not trusting an...
