I just realised that I am not able to switch the loops on or off by using the assigned midi key on my controller. Everything else works fine. What am I missing??

and also one more thing. The faderfoxes works like this: 1 press start second press = stop. I would like the second press to just start it again. 'cos I am playing with a full band without click and will have to trigger my loops manualy without quantize and sometimes i fuck up and will have to star...

That´s an easy one
Just hit APPLE-M and click on the control you want to assign to the big knob.
For the F9-key, just change the behaviour in the system preferences of the mac OR re-map the key in the AK1 control software to something else...

Oh so you guys are the DJ section? I want to make my own remixes, a friend of mine told me that ableton live is able to separate a song in separate tracks. How can I do that? Oh and can you suggest me a good midi controller for DJing please? Oh and how can I assing multiple cue points to midi? :wink:

So, this is I think my 4th mix. No cheap tricks (ahh besides Fade-to-grey and very few Beat-Repeat :lol: ) just plain layering of songs. I see the problem in the reliabilty of the interface. Happend more than once to me that I got crackling and stuttering in the sound...needing to reboot my Mac. And this is a common well known problem of the BCD. Some say it does not happen on Windows XP machines...can´t tell but I am not trusting an...
