I went a long time between Live updates, upgraded, and then went long time before using it again. I wanted to get back to work on old songs today, and discovered that most of the default installed waveforms have:

-Had their paths changed (/Waveforms to /Waveforms/Samples/etc.),
-Many .wav files ...

I picked one up last week at a B&N store. The arranging tutorial was a joke.

I'm too late! I can't find the issue in stores, and the online store said they're sold out. *sigh*

If anyone can recommend some good books on Live 6, or DVD tutorials etc., feel free!

I had my Live 5 library put in ~/music/Ableton. When I installed the download for 6, it made its own folder called ~/music/Live6.

Live6 knows to look for waveforms and such in ~/music/Ableton when I'm opening Live5 sets, but I don't want to have a 6 library tree separate from the old 5 library ...

I have a box fetish. It's painful to throw away the packaging. They're like easels for canvases that great paintings will be, or have been, made on.

It's not in 16.8 mil colors? Isn't 32bit just 24-bit/16.8mil cols plus an 8bit Alpha transparency ? I don't have any transparency data for it.

The 3.8MB PNG of this image is probably higher quality, but the image hosting service I'm using won't go past 1meg.
