Re: Split Clip doesn't work the way I expected. How to make loop

He's talking about the 'split' command in the arrangement view.

Answer: Use the 'consolidate' command. You can right click on the clip to see this option or under the edit menu. Works for midi and audio.

Your welcome.

Re: Users speak out at CDM reagrding sync

This looks interesting - Innerclock Systems Sync-Lock - http://www.innerclocksystems.com/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3ULMpaBpeo&feature=player_embedded I'm not sure if it would be useful for inter-computer sync, but for those of you frustrated with syncing external gear this might just be t...

Most active Ableton Blogs or user-communities?

I'm doing a little research and was hoping we could compile a list. Please include only the ones that focus mostly on Ableton. CreateDigitalMusic.com and WireToTheEar.com are awesome, but not Ableton-centric in my view. And I do mean "active". There's plenty of dead ones out there... Here'...

Re: monome 256 for sale.

Oops, after reading your post I forgot to add 'self-righteous' behind Pampered, rich... Eating peanut butter for months in anticipation? Uh oh. Better add 'stupid' behind self-righteous. :P Yup. That's all you've got left - insults. An obvious attempt to overcompensate for your inability to make a ...

Re: monome 256 for sale.

The monome community. Pampered rich white kids who have $1500 to blow on a box with twinkling lights, then complain when someone wants to sell it for even more? Oversimplified prejudice only serves to illustrate how ignorant your statement is. It also proves the sheer irony in this discussio...

Re: monome 256 for sale.

Art, cars, houses, toys - anything. If you want it THAT BAD, don't expect to get the premium back. That is unless, you're counting on another greedy individual to scarf it up. So, yeah, the cycle of greed will inevitably continue. It doesn't make it right however. Again, the Monome community DOES NO...

Re: monome 256 for sale.

Support Jacobain all you want. The fact remains - He decided he absolutely wanted a 256 at WAY ABOVE normal pricing. That doesn't mean he has the right to stick to the rest of us. Besides, the manufacturers are running silent auctions now so you don't have to pay these OUTRAGEOUS prices. Art collect...

Re: monome 256 for sale.

The monome community would NEVER condone this.

Edit: Ah f*ck it - it's not even worth explaining how wrong this is. Greed rules the world - and that includes 'purchases' as well.

Desire - catch it!

When I was on windows, I was very curious about the possibilities of Usine. But alas, I am now a happy mac user. Wow Guru, knowing we both share some of the same ideals (or might I say gripes about Ableton Live) it's very encouraging to hear you're an advocate of Plogue! Yes, it would be most awesom...
