One more vote for VIDEO

My video needs are simple. Just a little video playback window that stays in sync with a timeline. You know, so you can compose music to a moving picture. In the meantime there's always DP4. I agree that this should not hamper development of Live5 (not that it was). But would be great to see in mayb...

This is the second most needed feature

i still use Digital Performer mostly. I usually track audio parts in Live, warp marker them then export them into DP. All because DP has all the midi features I need. I think Live is an amazing tool but it seems to lean too much on the bells and whistles and misses the necessities. Umm, like a simpl...

Another vote here

I can't beleve this very basic feature is missing? I know you can record in session view and set the global quanize to 2 bars hit record while live is playing and two bars later live starts recording but why the workaround? Also what if your are recording into arrangment view? Um, that doesn'w work ...

Metronome count off, better midi/audio quantizing, quicktime

- A variable bar metronome countoff or record trigger by midi note or audio input threshold (until midi note or audio threshold is triggered the metronome just ticks and live just waits to record). - It would be nice to have better (real) quantising. Maybe groove quantising? Maybe capture groove fro...

Re: An adjustable count-in

There is a workaround way to do it in 4.1 but I never figured it out. It's in the tips posts somewhere.

I am a bit confused why this fundamental feature is missing or at least not implimented in a straight forward way. :?:

Here's a really cool one from PSP

I just sold my whole studio to setupa G5 dual 2.5 studio. One of the things I was worried about selling was my Lexicon PCM 80. Well, not any more. I just got the PSP Nitro plugin and this thing is amazing! If you are looking for a filtering delay based plugin look no further. By filtering PSP means ...

I use a Novation X-station

I've only had it for week but it's awesome. Really well built. Nice effects that you can record with our without or just monitor. The built in synth sounds really nice and covers a lot of ground. The mic inputs with phantom power sound great. I have yet to get it to hicupp with audio and midi. I use...

Kontakt CPU Drain : (

Yes it is. I just sold all of my hardware to upgrade to a Mac G5 Dual 2.5 for this very reason. Well, for many reasons like this. I too am currently working on an aging Mac G4 Dual 450. Which in Live is really like a single 450. So I feel your pain. And in that case there is no easy way to do it. Pe...

NI Kontakt can do it.

I think if you load your sample into Kontact there is a stretch (preserve time) mode. That way you can play the sound polyphonic in real-time.

Hope this helps.
